Excursions from Hurghada
Hurghada's location is great for those who want to explore many places
in Egypt full of ancient historical sites. Cairo and Luxor just has to be
visited! There are also excursions to Alexandria, Aswan, Abu Simbel,
Dendera and 4 day Nile Cruises. Beside that, discover the beauty of
Eastern (Arabian) Desert and the Red Sea.
The heart of Egypt, the biggest city in Africa with its huge population and amazing
monuments. Capital of Egypt.
There are three options for that trip: 1 or 2 days by bus or 1 day with 2 days program by flight.
One day trip by bus: Pyramids in Giza, Sphinx, Egyptian Museum (around 2 hours with
Tut-Ankh-Amon collection), perfume and papyrus stores, lunch. If you decide to stay for
a second day you might see Old Cairo with Christian and Islamic monuments and the most
famous Khan el Khalily bazaar. By bus it takes 7 hours in convoy (convoy is only one way) and
around 1 hour by flight. You'll be picked up from your hotel 1-3 AM (depends on the hotel
location) and bus will drive you back before midnight the same day after the trip.

entrance fees, lunch, guide, A/C bus).
Some travel agencies organize Cairo plus Alexandria over night trip by bus. In Cairo you'll
have standard over day program, accomodation at hotel in Cairo (HB), next day early
morning start after breakfast for Alexandria, where you'll visit El-Muntaza (new Library),
Granite columns, Abu El-Abbzas Mosque, Fort Qaitbey. Return to Hurghada via Cairo.
You can also go there on your own (by regular bus or rented car), but consider that this might
cost you more since you have less knowledge of Egypt.
Cairo
Luxor
The biggest open air museum in the world with amazing Karnak Temple, Luxor Temple
and countless other temples, statues and tombs. It's only about 4 hours by bus from Hurghada
to get there. Standard over day program includes sightseeing Karnak Temple, Hatchepsut
Temple, Colossi of Memnon, Alabaster Store and Valley of the Kings (some agencies are
cheating tourists by taking them to Valley of Queens instead of Kings, so be aware!).

Luxor is a great spot to visit Dendera and Abydos - some travel agencies are having it in over
night Luxor trip or instead of Dendera - Aswan and Abu Simbel excursion. If this is not
enough take a 4 days and 3 nights Nile Cruise Luxor - Aswan by luxury ship and discover
more like Edfu, Esna, Temple of Horus, Kom Ombo, Sobek Temple, Haroeris, High Dam
and Unfinished Obelisk.

Sinai Peninsula
Mount Sinai - place where people received the Ten Commandments. It's the second highest
mountain in the Sinai Peninsula (2,285 meters high) after Mount St.Catherine (2,642 m.).
From Hurghada you'll be taken there by ferry boat (around 90 min.). Standard over night
program: around 4 AM transfer from Hurghada to Sharm el Sheikh (6 AM), then breakfast.
Land Cruiser jeep (A/C) will take you to Coloured Canyon (9.30 AM), where you'll walk with
the guide to Dahab. In Dahab snorkeling and lunch, at 9 PM dinner and rest till 2 AM. After that
2 hours climbing Mount Sinai to see one of the most beautiful sunrises in the world. At 9 AM
visiting St.Catherine Monastery. Back to Dahab, lunch, return to Sharm and then Hurghada.

Eastern (Arabian) Desert full of magnificent colors and peaceful mountains.
Standard program starts in the early afternoon. Jeep Safari: the 4x4 jeep takes you from your
hotel to the desert. On the way to the Bedouin Village, great driver will make you feel like you're
at funfair. Quad Safari: you'll be picked up from your hotel and taken to the quad station,
where you'll learn how to drive this bike (easy, automatic, single, only above 16!). You'll drive
your quad by your own following guide to the Bedouin Village. Then the program becomes the
same for quad and jeep safaris: knowing Bedouins lifestyle, trying oriental tea and shisha
(waterpipe), riding camels, watching sunset in mountains, BBQ with soft drinks, music and
dance of the Bedouins. Return to hotel around 8 PM.

Tourquoise clear waters, powdery white sand and colorful coral reefs.
Pick up time from the hotel between 8 and 9 AM, transfer to the boat. The boat starts from
marina at 9.30 AM, then short sea trip to the coral reef, where you can enjoy snorkeling for
about 1 hour. The boat will move to the other snorkeling spot to spend another hour in the open
water. After lunch start for Giftun Island, where you'll relax for 1,5 hour. Return to your hotel
about 4-5 PM.

45 km South from Hurghada, beautiful, long, virgin beach and amazing reefs just few meters
from the beach - great trip for parents with kids.
Pick up time from the hotel between 8 and 9 AM, transfer by bus to Sharm el Naga. After
arrival you'll get your snorkeling equipment and enjoy the most beautiful beach reef in the
region. Around 2 PM lunch. Return to hotel around 4.30 PM.

Red Sea - populated by unique Fauna and Flora. Milions of colors in the clearly blue water.
You don't need to know how to dive! Our dive master or instructor will be all the time right
beside you. All you need to do is to breath and watch. If you'll not deside to go under the water,
enjoy snorkeling or sunbathe.
Pick up time from the hotel between 8 and 9 AM, transfer to the boat. After arrival you'll get
your snorkeling or dive equipment and move by boat to the first diving spot. On the way our
instructor will give you short lesson about diving. After 1,5 hour boat change for another reef,
where you'll have second dive. Around 2 PM lunch. Return to hotel around 4.30 PM.

Private small town 22 km North from Hurghada with modern arabesque architecture and
beautiful lagoons.
Transfer from your hotel to marina between 8 and 9 AM. From the boat you'll be able to fish
and snorkle. After that the boat will move to El Gouna where you'll take a shuttle boat to make
the panorama inside El Gouna, then visit Aquarium. Back to the boat, lunch. Return to the hotel
